D&O Garbage Service customers that fall within the City of Salem service area will NOT see a rate increase in 2026. The rate increase approved at the public hearing on November 24th is effective for City of Salem residents in Polk County only.
**Holiday Collection Schedule**
We will be closed for Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th and New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1st. Service for Thursday will be delayed one day late through Friday.
Monday-Wednesday customers will not be affected by the holiday collection schedule.
