While many of the main thoroughfares have dry pavement today, outside of traffic lanes the snow and ice still exists, particularly on the side streets and lesser trafficked areas that we provide service to. Space where we generally ask for carts to be placed for collection has frozen snow piled and more parked cars than we generally see. For the safety of our drivers and our customers, we have chosen not to run routes for Thursday and Friday and we have every intention of collecting extra material (however bagged/boxed/contained next to your carts) on your next regularly scheduled service day at no charge. For recycling, collection will still be on your regularly scheduled bi-weekly pickup, but we will certainly allow for extra recycling material as well. Please know this decision was not made lightly and we take into consideration safety, efficiency, and the duration of the inclement weather when determining best practices. Our office will be back open with normal business hours on Monday, 2-27-2023 at 8am for any questions.
